High-res
I spent yesterday afternoon at Pinto Art Gallery in Antipolo and I had such a grand time. Now I have to sort through two hundred or so pictures for posting, haha.
High-res
A pair of swallows. A letter-bringer, a correspondence, a winged compass to lead the sailors home. Swallows are seabirds (their cousins— the sparrows, brown and not blue, are of land), and the line between flying and floating is traversed. This is a movement to move. I am a great migration within myself.

My swallows making rounds over at F! Yeah Tattoos. Thank you.
YOU HAVE KILLED ME: Last Sunday, I watched Morrissey, the Morrissey, by myself. I told myself I’d try my hardest not to cry but I did. And I did. And I did. I never thought I’d ever get to experience this. So thank you, universe and beyond, for making this possible. (More pictures and the set list here.)
OF SWALLOWS AND LETTERS
and leading the sailor home.
Yes, yes, I got another one. Or two this time, a pair. A letter-bringer, a correspondence, a winged compass to lead the sailors home. Swallows are seabirds (their cousins— the sparrows, brown and not blue, are of land), and the line between flying and floating is traversed. This is a movement to move. I am a great migration within myself. (Read more here.)

36°C: Outtakes: Elisa wrote about what it was like to meet me and hang out for an afternoon. If you ever wondered about what I was like in person then you might want to read her take on the shoot. I can’t help but be amused by how she thought I’d be intimidating to talk to because I can be so cryptic. I don’t release the Rilke unless I have to— haha.

Crooked teeth, longboard wounds on my elbow, insect bites on my leg— I love that these things show in this photoset. I’m a far cry from the pretty, perfect catalog girl archetype and I’m proud of it. And it makes me even prouder that there are wonderful people like Elisa Aquino who see past the surface; because in truth, it’s these little imperfections that give beauty a bit more form and substance.
